A strange event happened today here at my dorm-Lakanal. At ten o'clock this morning someone knocked at my door. Then I opened the door and found a man there. He told me that he was searching for a Spanish student on my floor. Me, I told him that I don't know a Spanish student on this floor and that everyone is still on vacation. Then he told me that he is searching for two other students because he is a cardiac doctor! Following, this man asked me if I was married. I said "Yes!" From this point on I was feeling very uncomfortable. Then he asked me if I have children. I told him "No!" Next, he asked me if I smoke. I responded "No!" Finally he asked to enter my room. Immediately I said "No, I am eating my breakfast." Then I closed my door. Later, when I went to the community kitchen to warm up my coffee I saw the same man in the corridor. After that I went downstairs to report the strange man to the reception desk. After explaining the bizarre situation, the receptionist telephoned the director of the dorm-Lakanal, and then the police. Apparently this same man was visiting all of the dorms in order to enter the rooms of female students. As soon as the director arrived, he and I found the man on another floor and I identified him. Suddenly the strange man left the building before the police arrived. That was too bad. Then another student from my floor came down and shared an experience similar to mine, except that the strange man began to touch my colleague after telling her that he is a doctor and that she is on the list for an examination. It was very strange.

Un trompeur/An impostor
